He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Lee Corey and Lessie Maebell Modlin Corey; his sister Jannette Carman; and his brother-in-law Phillip N. Reason. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Rogers Corey; his son Rodney E. Corey (Beverly) of Williamston; his grandchildren, Brandon Radford (Heather), Jamie Radford Webb (Scotty) and Mary Beth Corey; his great grandchildren, Bradley Radford, Owen Radford and Anna Grace Webb; and his sister Mary Lee Corey Reason of Jamesville.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tice Cemetery (2925 Piney Grove Church Rd, Williamston, NC 27892).
