With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilbur Douglas Edwards (Williamston, North Carolina), who passed away on January 22, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry "Bruce" Edwards and Gladys Roberson Edwards; and his brother Charles Henry Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie "Anne" Styons Edwards; his daughter Cindy Edwards McPherson (Michael) of Knightdale; his grandchildren, Todd Douglas Horton (Laine) of Clayton, Emily Horton Williams (Jonathan) of Knightdale and Matthew McPherson of Cary; his great grandchildren, Stella, Clara Horton, Tucker and Briley Williams; and his brother Dewey Edwards. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
