He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Scott and Edna Brooks Scott of Harkers Island; his siblings, Priscilla Lewis and Teddy Scott; his granddaughter Chesley Adkins; and his in-laws, Kenneth and Mildred Piner.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Scott; his daughters, Angela Scott and Tessie Willis; his siblings, Nettie Lou Styron and Charles Scott; his grandchildren, Amanda Leffers and Brianne Willis; his great grandchildren, Nick Brazelton (Annsley), Makayla Brazelton, Savannah Tyndall, Kenzlee Tyndall and Parker Adkins; and his nephew Mark Davis (Heather).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Williston Methodist Church (473 US-70, Smyrna, NC 28589). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
