He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Yates and Emma Yates. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Yates; his sons, Justin (Rachel), Jeremy (Katy) and Joshua (Shelby); his grandchildren, Natalie, Lillian, Parker, Graham and Nathaniel; and his brother Tony (Brenda). He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:10 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park (4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804).
