He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Rich (Lamm); and his siblings, Arthur Rich, John Rich, Carl Rich and Mary Sue Carmean Carson.
He is survived by: his children, Carol McLeod (Anthony) of Willow Spring and Dale Rich (Marylynn) of Morehead City; his grandchildren, Eric McLeod (Jenna) of Raleigh, Taylor McLeod (Allie) of Newport and Hannah Orlowski (Elliot) of Clayton; and his great grandchildren, Hallie McLeod, Connor McLeod, Brooks McLeod and Annie McLeod. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and close friends.
