With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gerolene Stephenson of Willow Spring, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gerolene left this world on December 21, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Smith and Gladys Smith; her husbands, Tommy Sorrell and Jimmy J. Stephenson; and her siblings, Clara Dorman, Pannie Smith, Roger Smith and Johnny Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joy S. Brown (Bill), Sharon S. Hancock (Ricky), Tammy S. Pope (Morris) and Gail S. Turner; and her sister Myrtle Carpenter (Truman). She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and many well-loved nieces and nephews.
