She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Miles Bailey and Hattie Mae King Bailey; and her brothers, William, Joseph, Milton and Jimmie Bailey.
She is survived by: her daughter Emilda; her son-in-law Edward Rivers; her grandchildren, Bionca Booker, Dr. Emerald Jenkins (Jamal) and Dr. Endya Rivers; and her great grandchildren, Caleb and Bailey Jenkins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law, and a host of extended family.
