He was predeceased by: his sons, Kirby Dale Shepard and Kenneth Adrian Shepard. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hathaway Shepard; his son Kevin McCrae Shepard (Sherri); his grandchildren, Courtney and Collin (Caroline); his son Kristoffer Bruce Shepard (Emy); and his grandchildren, Madeleine, Ava and Andrew.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the United Advent Christian Church (4912 College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
