He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hinn and Lina Hinn; his son Andrew Hinn; and his wife Helly Kelly Hinn. He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Albert Hinn, Jr. of Chapel Hill and Dr. Greg Hinn (Dana) of Anacortes, WA; his sister Lucille Steiger (Nicholas); his grandchildren, Ryan Hinn of Charlotte and Keely Hinn of Raleigh; his sister-in-law Marian O'Connor of Long Island, NY; his nieces, Cindy and Theresa; his stepgranddaughters, Mattie and Annalise of Raleigh; and his caregiver Rebecca De Silva.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (1011 Eastwood Rd, Wilmington, NC 28403). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the Oleander Memorial Gardens (306 Bradley Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409).
