He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Congleton and Sudie Squires Congleton of Delco, NC.; his son Alex Scott Congleton; and his siblings, George T. Congleton, Doris Annell Murray, Sarah Jeanette Taylor and Marshall McDonald Congleton.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Lea Congleton; his daughter Tracy Reeves; his son-in-law Eric Reeves; his stepdaughter Melinda Stanton; his grandchildren, Meghan Juanarena (Brian Juanarena), Angela Erickson (Kristofor Erickson), Kylea Stanton, Braden Stanton and Kenzie Stanton; his great grandchildren, Braxton Erickson, Thomas Juanarena, Gracie Juanarena and Riggs Erickson; and his siblings, Marjorie Neve, Joyce Watkins and Franklin Congleton (Wilma Congleton).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Alex's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Tree of Life.
