With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice Yount Calder (Wilmington, North Carolina), born in Newton, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alice left this world on October 14, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rhyne Robinson and Virginia Yount Robinson. She is survived by: her husband Keith Calder; her daughters, Kelly Tuck and Emily Calder; her sons-in-law, Hunter Tuck and Austin Glover; her grandchildren, Harrison and Charlotte Tuck; her brother Robert Robinson; her sister-in-law Valerie Robinson; and her nephew Joshua Robinson.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (16 N 16th St, Wilmington, NC 28401).

Alice was my childhood friend in Conover, NC ...many a time we'd play in her room upstairs, attend Trinity UCC Church... Conover girls shared many memories; ie, Kathy, Carole, Sue, Alice, Stephanie, Linda, Melinda, Crystal, Louise, Deb & many more. It's hard to imagine the idyllic life we led in our hometown. Rest high on that mountain!✝️”
