Allen Lawrence Prevatte Obituary

We announce the death of Allen Lawrence Prevatte of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 77. Allen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fuller Prevatte and Lannie Mae Bass Prevatte; his siblings, Jimmy Dale Floyd, Preston Ray Floyd, Fuller Prevatte Jr., Rachel Lucas and Betty Jean Greer; his wife Elizabeth Ann Dail Prevatte; his daughter Melissa Lynn Prevatte; his siblings, Kenneth Phillip Prevatte and Barbara Prevatte Katlen; and his stepdaughters, Wendy Clemmons McNeil and Lisa Jean Clemmons.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Andrews Valley Chapel (4108 S College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Seagate Cemetery (5200 Lapaloma Ct, Wilmington, NC 28409).
