She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hattiway and Leola White Hattiway; her husband Robert Earl Bland; her sons, Philip Leigh Bland and David Hattiway Bland; and her brother-in-law Clinton David Harley.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert E. Bland, Jr. (Praneet Tukta) of Ocala and Donald E. Bland (Lisa) of Wilmington, NC.; her grandchildren, Ashley Bland of Cornelius, NC, Megan Bland Peterson (Micah) of Wilmington, NC, Micah Bland (Destiny) of Springfield, Oregon, Michael Bland (Joni) of Cerro Gordo, NC and Minnie Sakulsakpinit-Bland of San Antonio, TX.; her great grandchildren, London, Luca Rountree of Cornelius, Josiah, Elijah and Leilani Peterson of Wilmington; and her sister Ira Jean Hattiway Harley of Wilmington. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare or Pine Valley Methodist Church in her honor.
