She was predeceased by: her parents, David Elijah Jones and Mazelle Humphries Jones; and her sisters, Sharon Marshburn, Cecilia Wyman and Penny Landen.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Young (JoAnn), Marty Young and Brian Young; her grandchildren, Erik Schettig (Sydney), Justin Young (Valerie), Mason Schettig, Brandon Young (Bethany) and Kristen Wigand (Ben); her great grandchildren, Ingrid Schettig, Henry Schettig, Finley Young and Maddie Young; and her sister Rebecca Fullwood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel (1535 S 41st St, Wilmington, NC 28403).
