It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Barker (Wilmington, North Carolina), who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Uel Lee and Helene Hinds; her children, Jo Dee and John; her son-in-law Michael; and her sister Janet.
She is survived by: her husband John D. "Jack" Barker, Jr.; her daughter Helene; her children-in-law, John and Lori; her grandchildren, Annie (Tom), Megan (Travis), Simon and Claire (Alastair); her great grandchild Sunny; and her brother David. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Plans are being made to celebrate Ann's life at her home church of All Saints Anglican Parish, 2623 N College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28405, where family and friends will gather on October 4, 2025 at 2:00 pm to honor her memory and celebrate her legacy; in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the church, see link below.
