She was predeceased by: her mother Florence. She is survived by: her husband Col. Wallace H Dawson III (Bo) of Wilmington, NC; her children, Mary Lynn Bowlin of Huntington Beach, CA, Cathaleen Ley (Tom) of West End, NC, Jenine Flexner (Rich) of Oak Island, NC and Wallace Dawson IV (Hana) of Cary, NC; her pet Bubba; her grandchildren, Jessica Rawi (Omar), Kyle Bowlin (Sasha), Reece Flexner (Lauren), Keaton Ley, Brenden Dawson, Tyler Bowlin (Emily), Jillian Flexner (Lee), Lane Flexner, Anna Dawson-Pitts, Jarrett Ley and Ali Wherry (Chad); her sisters, Helene Molina (Ray) and Betty Moffett; her sister-in-law Sarah McCleod; her daughter Suzanne Dawson; and her grandchildren, Liza Dawson-Pitts and Zachery Dawson-Pitts. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
