She was predeceased by : her parents, Vasilios Karathanasis and Evridiki Karathanasis; her husband Charles M. Dina; her sister Martha Karathanasis; her son Chris Kambourelis; and her grandsons, David and Jason Kambourelis.

She is survived by : her sister Mary Karathanasis; her children, Carol Underwood (Ray), Steven C Dina (Mandy) and Douglas Dina (Patricia); her grandchildren, Daniel, Stephanie Lovie, Michael, Spencer, Samantha and Sawyer; and her great grandchildren, Theodore, Nicholas and Daphne.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Market Street Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
