Anne O'Sullivan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2025, at the age of 78, Anne O'Sullivan of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anne O'Sullivan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hyland and Abigail Hyland (Devane); her husband Kevin J. O'Sullivan; her stepchildren, Devon Knutsen and Kerry O'Sullivan; her daughter-in-law Kathi O'Sullivan; her stepdaughter Noreen Morell; and her son-in-law Jerry Morell.
She is survived by: her son George Sutton (Kristi) of Wake Forest, NC; her stepdaughters, Gael O'Sullivan of Bethesda, MD and Erin O'Sullivan-Jennings (Mark Jennings) of Augusta, MI.; and her grandchildren, John Ryan Knutsen (Jessica), Kevin Knutsen (Jessie), Kara Knutsen, Kyle Knutsen, Sean O'Sullivan, Alison O'Sullivan, Coleen O'Sullivan, Kerry Joseph O'Sullivan (KJ), Sean Johnson, Shannon Johnson, Thomas Morell (Hannah), Brian Morell, Kathryn Grasmeyer (Matt), Kelly Morell (Zeb), Brandon Jennings (Shelby), Brianne Ferreira (Stacey), Kendall Jennings, Matthew Sutton and Timothy Sutton. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Valley Chapel (4108 College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (6650 Carolina Beach Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 6650 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington, NC.
