It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Dittmer of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred "Thomas" Cole, and Robert W. Cole, Jr.; her husband Allen Joseph Dittmer; and her sister Brenda Everett. She is survived by: her children, Allen J. Dittmer, Jr., Robert Dittmer (Clara) and Debra Ward (Victor); her grandchildren, Cole Dittmer (Kayleigh), Kyle Ward and Victoria King (Michael); her great grandchild Olivia Dittmer; and her brothers, Robert W. Cole III (Ana) and Gene Cole.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Lower Cape Fear Life Center in appreciation of their wonderful support during this difficult time.
