With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Collins Erlewine of Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Erlewine; and her son Stephen Erlewine. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis and Chris Erlewine; her grandchildren, Melissa Batts, Kristen Thacker and Jeremy Erlewine; and her great grandchildren, Gerald, Angel, Joshua, Blake, Emily, Allie, Grady, Nolan, Jonah, Joel and Hazel.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oak Valley Church (2730 Northchase Pkwy W, Wilmington, NC 28405).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial donations to Lower Cape Fear Lifecare for their amazing commitment and staff.
