She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Duvall Nobles Sr. and Rosa Watts Nobles; the father of her children Charles B. Harper Sr.; her husband William E. Skipper; and her granddaughter Christie Sessoms.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Harper (Fonda), Tina Monk, Chuck Harper (Judy), Don Harper (Dianne) and Sandra Anderson; her grandchildren, Amanda Bradley, Katy Lineberry, Brianna Houston, Mikayla Monk, Brittany Bowen, Cody Harper, Doug Jordan, Gina Balcomb, Samantha Daughtery, Brooke Hazel and Cheryl Parker; and her grandsons-in-law, Cody Harper, Matt Bradley, Wesley Bowen, Paul Daughtery, Jay Lineberry and Reggie Brown. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
