We announce the death of Brenda D. Sasser of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 6, 2026, at the age of 74. Brenda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Putney Driver, Sr. and Patricia "Ann" Jones Driver Vause (Ann); her parents-in-law, R. D. Sasser and Joyce Lambert Sasser; and her stepfather Jim Vause.
She is survived by: her husband Steven Daniel Sasser; and her siblings, Robert (Melinda Driver), Kaye Smith (Danny) and Martha Asby (Al). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephew.
