He was predeceased by: his parents, Delores Kee and Charles E. Kee. He is survived by: his wife Emily B. Kee; his children, Michelle D. Kee and Michael B. Kee; and his siblings, Charles Kee Jr., Tariq James (Rochelle), Gwendolyn K. Slade and Camilla K. Lacewell (David).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM and at 4:30 PM at the John H. Shaw's Son Funeral Home (520 Red Cross St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation, supporting scholarships and youth development initiatives that honor Carlton's enduring spirit of mentorship and service.
