Carole A. Owen Obituary

Carole Owen passed away on September 19, 2023. She was born in Framingham, MA on October 6, 1939.

She graduated from Burdett College in Boston. Carole married her husband, Tom Owen, in 1962 and enjoyed life as a homemaker. Carole was an avid bridge player. She taught all her children to play and participated in many tournaments over the years.

She is predeceased by her husband, Tom Owen, her twin sister Claire Marino, and her brother Bobby Marino.

Carole is survived by her three children, Tara Locke (John Locke), Courtney Malahias (Peter Malahias), Samantha Fey; grandchildren, Ellie Franzetti (John Franzetti), JT Locke, George Malahias, Tommy Malahias, Olivia Fey, Victoria Fey, Chloe Fey; her great-granddaughter, Mia Franzetti; sister, Joan McQuire; and her cousin, Marie DeFonzo.

The family extends their gratitude to Carole's caregiver Mandi Ayala and the wonderful team at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.

A graveside service will be held at the Oleander Memorial Gardens on Friday, September 22 at 3:30 pm. Deacon John Walsh will officiate.
