She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Moreno Coe Romberg and Henry A; her grandparents, John Moreno Coe and Evelyn Shipley Coe; and her brothers, John Mansfield Romberg and James Nicholas Romberg.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alexandra Dorr of Wilmington and Henry "Hank" Romberg of Round Hill, Virginia; her sons, Robert "Alex" Moomaw (Amy) of Norfolk and Matthew Moomaw (Angie Bidnick) of Golden, Colorado; her grandchildren, Reece, Keir and Rosamund; her friend Ken Karadin; her pets, Abby, Zane, Hawkeye, Tashi, Tommy and Tonka; and her donkey Lotus.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Jude MCC Church (19 N 26th St, Wilmington, NC 28405).
