She is survived by: her children, Edward 'Scott Pennington of Wilmington, NC and Paula Teresa Heustess (David) of Wilmington, NC; her grandson Joseph Pennington; her great grandchildren, Cayden, Ethan Whitaker, Dakota, Jaxon France, Natalie and Vincent Valle; and her sister Sandra Tetzloff Parker (Larry) of Castle Hayne, NC..
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital and the American Society for the Prevention and Cruelty of Animals (ASPCA) in memory of Cecilia Pennington.
