She was predeceased by: her mother Mildred Parker Farmer; the father of her children James Pickett; her husband Donald Smith; and her siblings, Joyce Atkinson and Paul Parker Rivenbark.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Malpass (Roger), Wanda Robertson (Eric) and Jimmy Pickett, Jr. (Vickie); her grandchildren, TJ Kelly (Scot), Lacie Wooten (Eric) and Carlis Malpass; her great grandchildren, Jamie Kelly, Thomas Kelly and Emerie Wooten; and her sister June Smith.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Quinn McGowen Funeral Home (315 Willow Woods Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409).
