He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gillette; his daughter Lori Gillette Stafford (Darin); his grandchildren, Hannah Stafford and Allie Stafford; his brother George Gillette (Patricia); and his close friends, Tom Canady and Susan Canady. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Wrightsville Baptist Church (601 Causeway Dr, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
