We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2025, at the age of 73, Cheryl Kay Yeager Davenport (Wilmington, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lloyd Yeager. She is survived by: her mother Margie Yeager; her siblings, Lori O'Rourke and Gary Yeager; her husband Bill; her daughters, Heather Byrd (Ryan) and Lindsay Thomasson (Chad); her stepdaughter Michelle Sealock (Eddie); and her siblings' children, Bailey Leffler, Kelis Patel and Kyle Yeager. She is also survived by aunts and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Andrews Market Street Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
Memorial contributions may also be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
