He is survived by: his wife Ruth Burke Brown; his brother George Brown of Bedford, PA; his daughters, Deborah Van of Sarasota, FL, Hoven of Sarasota, FL and Pamela Douglas of Sarasota, FL; his grandson Christopher Douglas; his daughters, Diane Tomasky of Brunswick, MD and Carol Plautz (Jeff) of Carolina Beach, NC; his grandchildren, Bernard Tomasky, Alexandra Flynn and Emily Tomasky; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Arlo and Zoe Clair Flynn.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (6650 Carolina Beach Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
