He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara A. Dinkins; his children, Michael L. Dinkins of Wilmington, NC, Bradford Dinkins (Parlia) of Las Vegas, NV and Crystal L. Dinkins-James of Wilmington, NC; and his sister Gladys Taylor of Wilmington, NC. He was also cherished by three grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (901 S 5th Ave, Wilmington, NC 28401). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bowens Chapel AME Zion Church (5826 Carolina Beach Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
