He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Thelma Smith Hemmingway; his children, Tawand Bennett (Tamula) of Wilmington, Ismara McLean of Wilmington, Robbin Gore of Greensboro and Andramada Hemmingway-Brown of Wilmington; and his sisters, Julia Hemmingway of Bronx, NY, Monica Olusajo of Kernersville and Ella Mae Hemmingway-Scarborough of Whiteville.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (901 S 5th Ave, Wilmington, NC 28401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
