She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Jones and William Vernon Laughinghouse; her son Kevin Riggs; her stepson Scottie Nelson; and her sister Carol Norris.
She is survived by: her husband Scott Nelson; her brother Billy Laughinghouse; and her nephew Glenn Heath.
