He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Atkinson and Henrietta Atkinson (Opalinski); and his brother David Michael Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Atkinson (Rhine); his daughter Mckenzie Murray; his stepson Terry Ramsey (Judy); his brother Scott Atkinson (Roberta); his grandchildren, Katelyn Ramsey, Dennis Lynch, Jacob Locklear and Kyle Ramsey; his siblings-in-law, Gary Burrows, Penelope Riggs and Cindy Fairfax; his nieces, Lisa Ferree and Erin Jankowiak; and his pet Daisy.
