With solemn reverence, we commemorate Daniel James Rupert (Wilmington, North Carolina), born in Syracuse, New York, whose life came to an end on December 9, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack C. Rupert and Cecelia Rupert; and his siblings, Connie Rupert and Ted Rupert. He is survived by: his wife Linda Rupert; his children, Melissa Frear of Kentucky, Danielle Grady (Adam), Kristen Rupert, Kerri Rupert, Jennifer Hatten and Edward Hatten (Crystal Hatten); his great grandchild Remi; and his brother Frederick "John" Rupert. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice or the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.
