He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Skinner and Rebecca Howell Skinner; his wife Ann Ford Skinner; his brother Ronnie Skinner; and his stepsister Carolyn Strickland.
He is survived by: his sons, Todd Skinner (Francine) of Wilmington, NC and Brad Skinner (Monica) of Raleigh, NC; his grandsons, Harrison Skinner and Henry Skinner; his sister Deborah Gravitt; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Skinner, Donald Ford (Katherine), Phillip Ford (Pam) and Lynn Ford (Sandi). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
