She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Lee Morris and Ralph Watts Goodman; her husband Jack Nelson; and her siblings, Harold Goodman, Agnes Lowder and Hilda Foreman.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Nelson Stokley (Robert), Laura Nelson Blalock (Steve) and Mark Douglas Nelson (Damiene); her granddaughter Elizabeth Anne Stokley (Ryan Stephens); and her great grandchild Eleanor Grace Stephens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
