David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan J. Klein and Winnie Glancy Klein; his daughter Marjorie Sharon Klein; and his wife Charlotte Berry Klein. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Wright Pederson of Chestertown, Maryland and Edward John Klein of Vero Beach, Florida; and his children, Timothy Marshall Klein of Vancouver, Washington and Brenda Benicia Klein (Sina Ghaemmaghami) of Rochester. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (125 S 3rd St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
