He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Odum and Lillian Elizabeth Odum; and his brother Jimmy Odum. He is survived by: his wife Kitty; his children, Julie Jackson and David Odum; his sister Nancy Squires; and his grandchildren, Austin Jackson, Madison Jackson Croom (Nicholas), Nathan Odum and Michael Odum.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel (1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (1133 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
