He is survived by: his son Dr. Eric Pierson of Wilmington; his brother Brian Pierson of Philadelphia, PA; and his grandchildren, Samantha Stephens, Alexis Stephens, Sarah Pierson, Ryan Pierson and Matthew Pierson.
