Though David Wendell may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret Ann Hurd. He is survived by: his wife Alana May Hurd of Wilmington, NC; his sons, Robert Loring Hurd and William Bascomb Hurd; his daughter-in-law Gayle Todd; his grandchildren, David Elliott Hurd, Molly Margaret Hurd and Jackson Chamberlain Hurd; and his brother Thomas Owen Hurd.
