Dean Lassiter Obituary
We announce the death of Dean Lassiter of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 57. Dean will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Dean will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Dean will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Dean’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his wife Adrian Smith Lassiter; his children, Evan Dean Lassiter, Julia Rose Lassiter and Smith Cason Lassiter; his parents, James Franklin Lassiter Sr. and Audrey Dean Lassiter; his brother James Franklin Lassiter Jr. (Susan Lassiter); his uncle Joe; and his aunt Sandra Holloman. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Port City Community Church (250 Vision Dr, Wilmington, NC 28403).
