She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pridgen and Winifred Pridgen; and her siblings, Shirley Clemmons and James Pridgen. She is survived by: her husband Darrell McHaney of Wilmington; her daughter Lynne McHaney (Clint Bowen); and her sister Patricia Griffin of Asheboro. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to First Christian Church.
