With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Carol Bowman in Wilmington, North Carolina, born in Brunswick, North Carolina, who passed away on October 2, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wooten "Willie" Henry and Orena Clemmons Henry; her husband Burton Eugene Bowman; and her siblings, Willie Bryan Henry and Margaret Orene Mintz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ramona Faye Jordan of Red Springs, NC, Roxanne Denise Patti of Elizabethtown, NC and Karen Renee Worley (Charles Eric) of Leland, NC.; and her siblings, David Henry of San Antonio, TX and Virginia "Polly" Skipper of Leland, NC.. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
