She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brightenfield and Lois Brightenfield (Klem); and her husband Carlton Cowan. She is survived by: her children, Michael Cowan and Becky Cowan Justice (Charlie); her sister Marie Baker; her grandsons, Russ Johns (Karla) and Justin Justice (Abbey); and her great grandchild Tinsley Nichole Justice. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
