Edith McLamb Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 23, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Edith McLamb of Wilmington, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Thornley Buck and Emily Pearl McLaurin Buck; her husband Charles Henry McLamb, Jr.; and her son Charles Harold "Hal" McLamb. She is survived by: her children, Emily McLamb Jungblut (Robert), David Arthur McLamb (Caron) of Laurinburg and Kenneth Paul McLamb (Beth) of Concord. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Even in widowhood, she remained active in her church and community, finding ways to serve others — including sewing hundreds of fabric masks during the COVID-19 pandemic and creating dresses for children overseas.
