He was predeceased by: his father Fredrick Jacob; and his brother Ernest Fredrick "Freddie" Schnaebele. He is survived by: his wife Joy Schnaebele; his daughter Teri S. Hupert (Stanley J. Hupert); his sister Lorraine B. Schnaebele; his grandchildren, Amber Lee Hupert and Spencer J. Hupert; and his sibling's children, Elaine (Frank Cioffi) and James Schnaebele.
