She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Hatsell and Dorothy Hopkins. She is survived by: her son Ray Werner; her sister Linda Passingham (Hugh); her nephew Scott Passingham (Alexis); her great-nieces, Airlie, Lyla and Hazel; her nephew Kent Passingham (Danielle); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Harper and Hayden.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kenan Chapel (510 Arboretum Dr, Wilmington, NC 28405). A burial was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
