With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elder Elijah B. Hansley of Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Elder may no longer walk beside us, their memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elder touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In their absence, their spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Elder was loved and cherished by many people including: wife Dedora Hansley; mother Elizabeth Martin of Wilmington; and children, Shana D. Hansley of Wilmington, Victoria P. Hansley of Lynchburg, VA, Diamali Corbett-Enejoh (Feni) of Durham, Latisha L. Corbett of Durham, Shawn D. Corbett (Christina) of Melbourne, FL, Deacon Tommy L. Grady (Tiara) of Richlands and Tiffaney S. Grady of Raleigh.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (901 S 5th Ave, Wilmington, NC 28401). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Salvation and Deliverance Family Worship Center (4402 Northwest Rd NE, Leland, NC 28451).
