He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn; his daughter Lakeisha Dowd; and his brothers, Julian Dowd Jr. (Raymond Nixon) and Benjamin Hunter. He is survived by: his daughter Lateisha Dowd-Williams (Jerry); his siblings, John Dowd (Sharon), David Dowd and Deborah Ann Dowd; his sister-in-law Helen Autry Dowd; and his grandchildren, Serenity Dowd-McCrea, Kimauri Laughlin, Kingston Williams and Karmen Williams. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
